  1. Hi Amanda! I also think that getting a good sleep can be very beneficial to live our lives. I can sometimes even tell that the difference between when I get a good night sleep versus when I get a terrible night sleep. Whenever I get a good night's sleep, I have a lot of energy to live my day. Sometimes when getting sleep can be difficult because of different factors of my day/life but I always try my hardest to get a good night sleep and go to bed at a decent time and wake up at a good time.

  2. Hi Amanda. I think that sleep is very important as an athlete and I try to get as much as possible to let nmy body recover and be ready for the next day. I think that sleep is the best thing that you can do for your body. I agree that when I do not get enough sleep I can often be in a bad mood. I also find it interesting that sleep has so many benefits that I wouldn't expect such as retaining information.

  3. Hi Amanda, I really enjoyed reading your blog about getting a good night's sleep. They say you should get on average 7-9 hours of sleep a night. I am not very good at going to bed early; I tend to stay up late, and I am super tired the next day. I really liked how you incorporated why sleep can affect your cognitive function. I can definitely tell when I have had a bad night's sleep because I cannot think when I am in class or doing homework, and I am not very energized throughout the day.
